I two!

We can't believe it!! This little baby is now 2! Dawson turned two on April 20th. When you ask him "How old are you?" he answers "I two!"

We had a little birthday party for him. His friends, Beck and Cohen and their parents came over and Dawson's cousins, Reagyn, Sawyer & Parker (and their parents) that live here in Boise came over too. We played a few games, but mostly the kids just played and the parents talked! It was a fun day. I'm not sure if Dawson really understood that it was his birthday and what that meant, but he definitely understood how to open presents!

You might notice this bike from Christmas. Yep we regifted Dawson's bike for his birthday! He didn't quite understand bikes at Christmas so we put it up and thought it would be great for his birthday and it was!! He loves it! Lucky for us Dawson has no memories of it from Christmas! His dr. just told me though that memories start around 2 years old - so I guess regifting is over for Dawson!

Dawson loves CARS!! I made him an ice cream cake for his birthday and decorated the top like CARS the movie!

We sure love this boy! He's such a blessing in our home and to us! He has a great personality and just keeps us laughing and laughing! We're so proud of him and love him so much!!

Catch Up

Our friend, Janelle, took pictures of the boys for us. They turned out really cute and I think she did a great job (this was her first time taking photos!) I made a huge mistake though! I had her start with Creed and then she took Dawson outside and snapped some pics of him running around and playing. I thought Dawson would come back inside, sit next to Creed and we'd get the cutest pictures of the two together. WRONG! After being outside running around Dawson was not about to sit down and take a good picture. Next time I'll know better!

The boys are doing great. Jayson is just counting down the days to graduation! (So am I!) Dawson is our comic relief. The kid is pretty funny. He's trying to count but only knows 2 and 5 so its a pretty fast count down. :) He is using more and more words and is repeating words Jayson and I say. Jayson will say "Sure" a lot when you ask him questions, so now Dawson says "sure" when I ask him a question. He is in love with the movie Cars and loves choo choos (trains). I'm still in shock that he's going to be 2 this month! The time goes by too fast!

Creed is growing and growing! He had his 4 month appointment this week and I was a little shocked at his stats! 18 pounds and 13 ounces! My baby weights almost 19 pounds! He's in the 97th percentile for weight and the 90th for height and head size. We started cereal this week and he is a not a fan but we'll keep at it and maybe he'll get a taste for it. He's a jabberbox and is making all kinds of noises. I think he just likes to hear himself! He's a great baby, he's so easy going and sweet. He has blue eyes still and his hair has a red tint to it which I'm not sure if that will stay or not. I'm totally in love with him!! He's such a sweet heart!

I'm just trying to get through tax season!! It's actually going pretty well for me. My mom came up and spent a few days with us this week. That was awesome! We got to have Reagyn and Sawyer come over and play and that's always fun. They came over Saturday morning and we had an Easter Egg hunt. Dawson's friend, Beck, came over too. So there was Reagyn who is 4 and then 3 boys who are 2ish and didn't really get the concept at first. Well Reagyn totally took advantage of the situation and had her basket FULL of eggs and candy before the boys really got a feel for it. It was great! Then we went and watched Jayson's mom and her sister go skydiving. that's right - skydiving! It was awesome! So Brave!
