Halloween

Halloween 2006, one of the best because I got my Superman shirt that I have been looking for for a long time. I was Clark Kent turning into Superman!! I did well if I don't say so myself. On my right is Camden, he is Yoda!! Kilie made the costume, it is pretty sweet. And then on my left is Beckham, he is a Wookie. Once again Kilie made the costume. It was a good Halloween, once again no Trick or Treaters so we got to eat all the candy by ourselves!!! We love Halloween for that. Also, this is pretty funny, in Boise they had this commercial telling everyone that convicted sex offenders are going to have their front lights out so kids don't go asking for candy. Well when we say that comercial our front light was burnt out so we rushed to get that fixed so people didn't think we were sex offenders, but it still didn't help to get kids to come trick or treat. (I don't know why this part is underlined....I'm still working on figuring this blogger thing out.)

Here are both of the boys dressed up in their costumes made be Kilie. Camden is Yoda and Beckham is a Wookie!! They looked pretty cute. We are excited to have the opportunity to dress up our kids in the up coming years!!
Here is another picture of Camden dressed up as Yoda!! Pretty awesome!!

This year for Halloween I decided to carve my pumpkin with the symbol of the Longhorns of University of Texas in Austin. The rumor here is Boise is that BSU will play UT in the Fiesta Bowl, so some people might not like this pumpkin. If they did play against eachother, man I don't know who I would go for, UT for sure would beat BSU, but it will be a good game.
The past couple weeks have been good to us. We had our ward Halloween party with a chili cook off. We decided to enter in that cook off, just to see if we could win! We got Bryan's recipe and made the chili, it made a ton of chili, and took it there for the ward. Well.... we won first place!! We were shocked and happy, not as happy as Bryan when we told him that his chili recipe won first. We won a 50 pieace tool set, a bunch of screw drivers and stuff. That was pretty exciting. And then we are still working and going to school, I am so ready for school to be done with. I am also registered for next semester, which I thought I had all the class I needed to go on to some upper division classes, but of course not, the credits didn't transfer from CSI to BSU right so I have to take some classes over again. Which isn't that big of a deal they are one credit classes. Other than that school should be alright next semester.
This past week we had a pretty neat experience happen to us. One if my friend's mother came into the bank the other day and pulled me aside to talk to me. She first congratulated us on being pregnant, and then offered us a car!! Her mother passed away back in March and has had her car in their drive way for the whole time since then. But the most amazing part is what she told me happened as she was coming to the bank to offer it to us. She was coming with the intention to ask for a small amount of money for the car, but as she was driving there she told me she heard her mother tell her to just give it to us. I don't know how to explain it, but when she told me that story I felt the spirit so strong. It about made me cry to hear that this sweet grandma, which Megan and I have never met in our lives, wants to give us her old car for free, for nothing. This is such a huge blessing in our lives right now. We knew that when the baby came that we were going to need a car for Megan while I was at work, just incase something happened. We are so grateful for this family and they kindness toward us. It is a 1984 Chevy Cytation, I have never heard of it before, but when I went to go look at it, it reminded me of the car Wayne drives in Wayne's World, but it isn't the same car. This is such a testimony builder for the both of us that God knows what we need and how to provide us with that. All we can picture is our grandparents that have passed on with this wonderful grandma, that is giving us the car, in Heaven looking out for us. Life is wonderful!! Heavenly Father loves his children.

J-Dawg,
That is a great story! And as a true Superman fan, comic collector, and geek, i must say you do pull off the Clark to Supes outfit rather well. Have you been working out:)? Anyway, loved the costumes. All three of you look great! Congrats again on getting knocked-up (i love that phrase) and you have no idea how cool it is to be a parent. Aiden is growing and changing so fast it blows my mind daily. I love that little man. Well, i got to go and write some more papers.

Cheers,
Price

Hey Babies!!!
I thought you needed to hear from me since we don't see you very often! We love you and your sweet spirits. You will always be blessed for your faith and love for each other. Now I want to see a picture of Megan and her tummy. Time to share the changes!

yes Happy Halloween and wow what a story! Morgan and I truly love to see how the Lord reaches out and touches our lives during the tough times. It usually comes through the love of others. I look forward to the times, when we can be the ones he works through! Love ya!
